The description said it was 7.62x39. The packaging says 7.62x39. The loader itself says .223.... I emailed about this and still no resolve.

Pros: none

Cons: It doesn't work with my AK mags!  I have a hard plastic mag and it doesn't work with this loader so I'll try to get a metal mag and try it out.

Not a good loader at all! August 5, 2011

Couldn't get a single one of my magazines to work.  I have both 30 round and 40 round steel AK47 magazines and this would not fit over the top of them.  I watched a Youtube demo video of how it works, but the guides inside block the magazines from  fitting.

i like this  loader for saving my thumbs but it only holds 18 rounds at a time and takes just as long to load a mag as just thumbing them in.

IT`S A GREAT AND EASY TO USE TOOL WITH THE ORIGINAL METAL 30 ROUND CLIP ...
DOES NOT WORK WITH THE 30 ROUND TAPCO PLASTIC CLIP .... WHICH I HAVE THREE OF THEM AND ONLY ONE ORIGINAL METAL.
